Patrena Bowen-Adams, LCSWA has a Masters of Social Work Degree from Fordham University. She has a Clinical Social Worker Associate license recognized by the North Carolina State Social Work Certification and Licensure Board and has been practicing since September of 2019. Patrena provides services to children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including office and within the community. Her approach to providing treatment is by using psychological eclectic and integrative techniques from various schools of thoughts and theorists. Your progress in the work and your development of emotional health will require your active participation in and out of our sessions. Change will not occur overnight and effective therapy requires a commitment to the therapeutic process. She will assist you in clearly defining your goals and help you develop a plan to achieve them.
